  Former Student Record and Diploma Request Forms

To obtain former student record(s) you now have three options: online, mail or walk-in services. (Excluding Replacement Diplomas & GED)  

All 3rd Party Requestors must request documents for Verification of graduation online.

All Replacement Diplomas must be requested online.

Mailed requests will be completed within 24 hours, unless documents cannot be found. The Records Management Center will contact the individual requesting the document(s) for further information.  Fee payment by cash or money order. Personal checks are not accepted.  A current photo ID is required.

Walk-in Services:
Hours 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. & 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Monday-Friday
Fee payment is cash only and a current photo ID is required.

NOTICE:  As of June 20, 2012 Regulation 790-2:

The Prince William County Schools Records Center issues a $5.00 per page fee for any document(s) requested for personal use. 
 

Replacement Diploma

Replacement Diplomas are now produced by the Records Center.  The processing time for each request will be the day of the request or the next business morning.  The fee is $13.00, which includes Amazon's $3.00 processing fee. As stated above, all Replacement Diplomas must be ordered online.  You may pick up your Replacement Diploma at the Records Center or it will be mailed to the requested address.

Please note:  Replacement Diplomas are not an exact copy of the original diploma.  Replacement Diplomas will have the most current Principal, Superintendent and Chairman of the Prince William County School Board’s signatures.  Replacement Diplomas will not contain various academic seals.



GED

Beginning January 2, 2014 all GED Certificates/Transcripts dated 2002-present date shall be ordered through the GED Credentialing web site.  Records dated prior to 2002 may be ordered online or on a walk-in basis.

The release of student information requires a signed request from the student or the parent / legal guardian if the student is under 18 years of age except in specific, limited conditions. A signed request and photo ID must be faxed or mailed. Note:  Requesting the Records Management Center to fax a document can only be completed if the document has not been microfilmed and the fee has been paid by cash or money order.
